Accessing Context Services through Genesys Composer blocks

Hi,

I'm currently trying to use Context Services (by accessing UCS database) from within Genesys Composer.  So far I have configured things in Composer (Preferences window) like this :
[li]Server Hostname : 10.254.250.101 (my Config Server IP)[/li]
[li]Server Port : 8090 (the communication HTTP port for Context Services)[/li]
[li]Base URL : cms[/li]
All those settings seem to be Ok since I get the "Connection successful" message while I hit the "Test Connection" button. (Still in Composer Preferences window).

Although, each time I try to use a "Context Services" block, for example "Identify Customer" with "Core.PhoneNumber" attribute, I get the following message : "Attribute 'Core.PhoneNumber' not defined in Context Services".  I read in documentation that such "Core data" should be enabled by default, so it sounds like I can't reach properly UCS database...

Any idea on this issue please ?  Do I have to make some more configuration for this to work ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

JF

Hi JF,

Could you post here log of UCS (debug level) covering start of UCS, your request and response?

R.

Hi René,

I just took a look at the most recent UCS log file created just after having restarted UCS.  But for the request/response, I'm not sure it's available, since I'm still at design step in Composer (8.1), only trying to set some "Customer attributes"...

I also tried to paste here the log content, but obviously, it's too large to be posted here (about 2,000 lines for only some seconds of covering).  Please could you indicate me a way to send it to you or indicate me more specific lines you are interested in ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

JF

Hi René,

I just rolled back to Composer 8.0 instead of 8.1 and now, I'm able to access Customer Attributes defined in UCS at design time in Composer...  Sounds a bit strange.  Have talked with our support guy here and he finally opened a service request at Genesys.  I'll let you know any information about that.

I still have an issue with "Idendify Customer" block in my Composer routing application since at generation (compiling) time, it asks me for a valid "Identification Key" in UCS, which I have no idea how to create, even after having viewed tons of documents and the provided template projects in Composer...  ???

Any idea on how to create such "Identification key" in UCS ?

Thanks a lot.
