Hi all,
I'm noticing a similar problem. Randomly, DTMF tones aren't traduced correctly. In an IRD 7.5 application, during a "play & collect" operation executed through a Studio 7.5 application, DTMF tones get lost or duplicated. i.e. if during the "play & collect" I digit 123456, can obtain randomly *11223456* or *1246*. Tryed cll phones, fixed phones from many different providers; voip and not voip phone sources.

I can provide only 2 clues:

- Never happens using Avaya hard/soft phones linked to the s8720.
- Already tried all possible DTMF tone interpretation code option on s8720 and on IPCM (through web interface).

The architecture chain is: (external coaxial fluxes) -> Avaya G700 -> Avaya S8720 PABX -> Hybrid 7.2/7.5 GVP (TServer 7.5, URS 7.5, IVR Server 7.2) -> Avaya G650 using H323 conversion, no SIP Server.

I'm asking to you an idea about a troubleshooting scenario to hunt down the cause of the problem.

Regards.

I'd do a trace on the H323 messages, maybe the PBX is sending them duplicated
