Reset ODS CCA

Hi i am have arrived at a customer site and there production CCA installation is messed up to say the least. I want (without having to re install-reinitialize the DB) to reset the ODS to think its running first time and then create the reports from scratch.

I did it a few years ago by logging into the etl assistant and deleting the ods connecting and adding in a new one but i am not completely sure as it was so long ago. I also cant test it as they have no dev setup.

Does anyone know a easy quick win was to reset ods as to think its running first time ?

Just drop the DB and recreate it.

Is the current environment is still working you can also proceed as follow :
- In DMA deactive ALL layouts (but do not delete them yet)
- In ETL Assistant for each layout set the purge parameters to 0 DAY / 0 DAY (for each one of the 7 levels)
- Stop ETL_Service
- Manually run 1 or 2 ETL_Purge & ETL_Transform
  .. you may have to wait one day to perform this part
- at some point you should be able to drop the Layouts frmo DMA
Hope this helps

A quicker approach is to drop & recreate your ODS & DataMart dabases alltogether (providing the fact that you have carrefully exported your layout templates in XML format)
