Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it in the forum. Our license file shows a number of Framework Standalone licenses, and CIM Platform licenses. I understand what Framework standalone licenses are for. My question is what role does CIM Platform licenses play and are they effectively the same as Framework Standalone licenses? The Genesys licensing guide fails to mention these licenses at all.

Thansk in advance.

Hi,

the differences are:

if you have framework standalone license means you have some places in your environment that you monitor but does not manage them, so if you have the framework standalone license you will have only the TServer sdn and tdn licenses with no router function for that.

if you have CIM platform license means you will have the router functionality over those places, meaning that you monitor and manage them.

if you have both means that in your environment you have some places that you actually control and othat places that you monitor but not control.

if you have more doubt about it let me know.  ;D

cheers,

??? Some licenses are printed just for commercial issues...and doesn't affect at all to the platform
The technical needed ones are just the ones you find on the documentation as you mentioned
