Multiple Resource Manager in env

Hi all,

had anyone experience with following needs:

We have deployed GVP in version 8.1,which will provide a vxml,annc,media,cpd,record,... services.So,we want or need for every type of service to have separate ResourceManager. When I tried to set it,all requests(PlayAnnouncement,Music,IVRProfile with voicexml,etc) are provided by Voice over IP Service with msml service-type.
It is possible to use separate RM with msml-support=true?If yes,any hints how to do it?

This setup is not supported - (even two VoIP Services pointing to different RM dooing same thing are not recommended). My main question is why You want separate RM for each type of service?

Subscription-id will be solution for multitenant env,in scenario when the need is to have separate RM for each tenant . This is recommended using and deployment. But my question/need is about multiple RM in singletenant env - for every service-type,which is used in prod env should have separate RM. For example:

-First RM for announcement
-Second RM for applications (voicexml)
-Third RM for recording

According to the doc and my experience from install and configure GVP8.1 with allowed MSML support,it is not possible or no hints in documents(dep,us,..).It it not my need and idea:-) And I do not know any reason for these deployment,customer has asked about this possibility.So,I am just wondering,because with NETANN it was possible,I guess.

When we use combination of SIP with RM and MSML we move managing of RTP resources (MCP) to RM. Different VoIP services from NETANN configuration are replaced by Resource Groups with different type of services. With NETANN protocol and Stream Manager or MCP, SIPS was managing directly each component and we had to create dedicated objects for each service. Also RM can handle 400 calls per second and supports HA so it is very unlikley that customer will need more than 1 RM pair.
