Stats server connection to DBServer ( DAP )

Hi Guys,

We are using Genesys stats server with primary and back up connecting to a DB server via DAP.

When we restarted primary, it was fine and then when we restarted back up it throws up errors stating it cannot connect to DB server and gets disconnected. in the DB server I see the following.

New client 62841 connected from '10.x.x.x'
13:15:47.199 Std 05022 Process './dbclient_oracle' started
13:15:47.209 Std 04523 Connection to client 'App: 192' closed, reason ''client disconnected''
13:15:47.412 Std 02024 OS signal 'SIGCHLD' received
13:15:47.412 Std 05024 Process './dbclient_oracle' abnormally terminated, error code -1

I was thinking, may be its because Primary is already connected to DB server and hence Back connection is terminated as we dont need both to talk to DB server.

What is the actual issue ? your thoughts on this ?

Cheers
Krish

I think there was a bug about this. Check release notes.

Again, read Release Notes...do your work pls...I don't remember ALLLL versions release notes
If you don't find anything related on all products involved I'll be surprised and not even open an eSR, would do an upgrade first as 7.5 is quite old
