ICACHE is the name of table, where the Medialink hold infromation abaout active interactions. You can find there also connids, which was assigned to interaction. But after some time appear there also interactions without connid. Such interaction got its own connid of course , but after time when some terms met. While the interactions hasn't own connid, the interactions are not ready for routing. Maenwhile the rate between interactions with and without connid is growing. Has anyone had such problem?
Thanks for help...

  • Is there any pattern to the status field in icache for the items that don't have connids? Have you seen anything unusual in your Genesys logs?

No,i haven't seen anything unusally in Genesys logs, but in the status field for this interactions is always number 4. Do you know where can I find descriptions for each status value?

4 = Throttled - those interactions haven't submitted yet because of the MaxQueuedMessages option
(defined in MediaLink's options tab, general section)

Could you pleas tell me, wich kind of interactions are counted as QueuedMessages. Becaus the parameter MaxQueuedMessages is set on 200, but in ICACHE i can see only 85 for example, where 10 interactions have connids and other not.

MediaLink divides the MaxQueuedMessages by the number of VRPs to set the limits for the different VRP's.

On the MediaLink's GUI click 'File', and select Show 'VRPs' to determine if the limit of some of your VRP's is already reached.

Note: If you run the MediaLink as a service you need to allow the service to interact with the desktop.

Yes of course... that must be the problem. We have 40 VRPs. Thank you.
