Hello Folks
If on one site the agent licenses are less ( ex: 5)  and assume another site have abundant licenses
Can we move licenses from one site to another to accomodate agents, is it possible

If your (FlexLM) Licence File is central (i.e. not distributed), then you should not have a problem.  Otherwise, you will need to speak to your Rep about moving Seat Licenses from one license file to another.

EDIT: Assuming you are using Genesys Enterprise - not Cloud or Small Business.... or any other flavour!

Thanks for reply
Ours is centralized license only
On t-server start up log file i saw " Number of seat licenses in use x-30 out of x"
which means seat licenses are still available and agent is still seeing the message.

Should i be looking some where else - like GAD linceses or something?

Well will depend on your environment... As all is centralized then gad can be single or multiple instances...all depends on your setup.

We have multiple instances of gad. each site have their own gad. When i looked into licenses section on gad app there is no much information.

Check licensing guide and gad deployment guide. You will find information there on how to adjust your licenses.

Dear Genesysnoob,

I have noticed that you have put the limit on the GAD licences (Site wise), which is incorrect !!!(as per my-understanding), because GAD, checked out number of licences, which are mentioned in the GAD Application (Third Party Server Application).

Now lets take example, what could be happen, lets take 100 seats per GAD, when GAD will exhausted finished the Licences in GAD working memory, then GAD will try to retain more 100 seats in 2nd attempt with License manager.

It is a good practice to mentioned less number of licences in GAD (Third Party Server Application).

I do not see/know way to limit the GAD licences.
