hi

i have to install GIS 7.6 but for that i need to add some services in "Configuration Server 7.1" through templates files *.apd As mentioned in deployment guide of GIS 7.6 but i am facing problem.
but Configuration Server give me "Access denied" Error but i have administrative rights on machine's user as well Configuration Server's user.
All things i have to do through Remote Desktop session on Genesys's Server machine.

can anyone tell me the solution of this problem :(

Have you tried importing by logging into the user "default" on configuration server? Sounds like a permission issue to the folder you are trying to import.

Instead of importing the template, if you have an existing application you can turn on "Make New in properties for existing objects" in CME options and create your new application that way. Or just create the application using an existing template and import the options you want the application to use.

Another way would be to use the Configuration wizard and allow it to make the application without using the template.

Also, Genesys always recommends upgrading atleast Config Server to the same version of the application your installing, in this case GIS 7.6. As any object changes in configuraion server used by the new application, would not be available in an older release of config server.
