Hi to everyone!
I'm new in this forum and trying to find some information about Hyperion.
In our environment there is the hyperion web suite and our customer wants to change the oracle password of the hyperion user: does anyone know if this could be a problem? And where is stored that password?
thanks a lot!

Hi Luigi.

I think that I understand your question:
In general there is a "oce" file if you work with hyperion client (designer) where you set the user/password to connect with DataMart database. I remember something similiar in the control panel from your hyperion server; I try to explain better: on every report that you publish in the brio server, a connection oce file must be set as a report property. That oce file may be modified.

I'm sorry but I don't work with brio/hyperion broadcasta and on demand server since... 3 or 4 years. I hope this help you a bit.

Good luck!

  • OK, thank you very much!!!
I'll try that way, hoping that it's the only place where the password is stored!
