Outbound Sequence

Hi Guys,

Iam stuck with one of the outbound requirements...

The client wants a single agent skill to be created for handling around 10 multiple active predictive campaigns. So basically I would be configuring a single VAG across the multiple predictive campaigns which I believe is now supported in outbound v7.5 and above.

But the problem is with creating Campaign sequences ...the client wants different campaign sequences to be created for each of the predictive campaign. But as we are using a single Skill VAG we can only create a single campaign sequence for all the campaigns combined.

The only solution I can think of is creating separate vags for the same skill but Iam not sure if this is really supported by OCS.

Any suggestions ???

Thanks...

I can't see why you would want to do this.  What is the driver for creating 10 separate campaigns?

Why not simply run 10 calling lists for 1 campaign with 1 skill?  Then control when records dial based on from/till times.

With just 1 campaign we also loose the abilty to automate the campaign sequence aswell ...like Campaign 2 should start after Campaign 1  at particular time and the other parameters that are available in an campaign sequence. Also they some times shift some of the campaigns from predictive to preview\progressive aswell .

  • You can still achieve this using 1 campaign and 10 lists.

You can either use a manual process to add lists at the appropriate times, or you can set each list's from and till time fields to be set for the times of day they want.

Switching between 10 different campaigns in the course of a day is going to affect your OCS' ability to predict AHT, Hit Rate etc accurately.
