Has anyone ever completed a CTI installation using GENESYS TSERVER with a TELCO CENTRAL OFFICE CENTREX SERVICES? I'm starting my research as to whether this is a feasable combination

Michael,
There would be no problems doing this. There are a large number of CO's out there with this. Are you planning to use and x.25 connection?

I don't know myself, but I know a man who does. Phil Dyde who works for BT in the UK. phillip.dyde@bt.com (I think)

  • Yes I`m planning to use Bell`s COMPUCALL (X.25 data link)and not the more recent ICM ETHERNET connection. I don`t know of any Bell customers that have implemented the new ICM with GENESYS. I`m not willing to risk it with ICM, ads of yet not proven itself in a production environment other than with NORTEL`s SYMPOSIUM.

    Thanks
