Hi,
I need pricing information on the Genesys Tserver range. If possible could you also give me a guide to integrating Siebel and Genesys Tsever?

Thanks
Sunil

  • It depends on where you are. Plus, when you buy TServer, you also need to buy AT LEAST 25 seats worth of licenses. That plus training and other expenses usually are about 50,000$ or so. You see, it all depends on what you want to do. ONLY TServer? No StatServer? CCP? IR?

If you will be just using TServer, you might as well try something less expensive!

Well, there shouldn't be any need for integration they work fine together as is. For what switch will you be using it?

    Hi Niel,
Thanks for the information. Actually, I am implementing the Siebel CTI system as a demo. I have a Lucent Definity Switch and, presently, no middleware. Hence, I was considering Genesys Tserver.
But why do I have to buy 25 seat licenses? Is it the no. of clients I can have? I require it only for a demo, maybe just a seat. Presently Siebel has inbuilt drivers for only 3 middlewares and the only one which can talk to a Lucent switch, as far as I know, is Genesys. If I were to buy just the Genesys Tserver. how much would it be? Hope you can help me out.

    Regards,
    Sunil

As far as I know you can no longer buy just TServer. You have to have "Framework" which means you need a dbserver and a config server to enable Tserver to run. More importantly you NEED a license to run tserver. Why not just call Genesys tell them what you want to do for this demo. They may give you temporary licenses for free if they see a potential sale down the road?????
