Hi there,

need advice on how best to carry out UAT on the WFM. Anyone with sample UAT plans/documentation to share? Thanks for your help.

Rhonda.

Hi, Rhonda,
I am sorry for sounding very silly, but what IS UAT?
We have been playing with WFM for over 8 months now; however, I cannot recall anything that would be called UAT.

Thanks,
Vic

Hi Victor,

UAT stands for User Acceptance Testing, my customer wants that to be done, to prove to them that it works to the way they wanted. Do you have any checklist that says, these are all the necessary steps to generate a forecast/schedule, do it and you get a forecast/schedule out of WFM?

thanks.

  • We had a professional service people come teach us about Workforce Manager, and when we have asked for UAT, they gave us an excel sheet that contained some vague checklist points which would not be understood by anyone but people who have used WFM for a rather long time.

We have asked for a project plan and testing schedule as well as a checklist, and after some time, they came up with few docs; however, I would not call it anything of the essense.

Email me if you want it.
