GVP > Nuance...

Hi,

I am being told by a client that their instance of GVP was built by Nuance (as an SI), like it was a dumb terminal IVR with TTS/ASR enabled.  I've tried to access the file sub-system/projects with Genesys Eclipse/Composer, but it is not loading .callflow elements, etc.

Is there such a thing a a proprietary tool from Nuance, which might have been used to build the CCXML/VXML for GVP?  If so, would that mean I need the same tools to develop the menus further - or is there a way to use Eclipse/Composer to develop the menus built by Nuance?

Hope I made the questions clear???

Thanks!

What about "Nuance Café" product? From my real life experience I just know about tools for TTS/ASR configuration, tunning and developement. Not sure about VXML/CCXML.

Really not sure - Nuance is not my thing.  If it's downloadable, I will certainly try it out!

Thanks!

Apparently, Nuance have "NDF" (Nuance Development Framework), which is another flavor for Eclipse - you can still use Eclipse but the elements, scripts, callflows etc. are packaged as jsp's, prior to expansion as (CC/V)XML.

...just in case anyone was curious! :)

Nuance has framework  called SVF(2.0/3.0) which uses Nuance Dialogue Module to connect with DTMF/Voice. It is completely java and jsp's

  • Interesting... does that Nuance Framework also contain the (TTS) tool set to create new audio files for inclusion in the ASR Call Flow?

For TTS/ASR tools there is another tool, called Nuance Vocalizer Expressive Studio.
