How to install Gplus simulator without using equipment file. I want to use only configuration manger switch annex tab settings.

I got n_simg3.exe file but unable to execute it

The command line (*.bat) shows the following error
===============================================
D:\GCTI\Test_G3Simulator>n_simg3.exe host Thiru port 2020 sw InfogainSwitch
Simulator G3 PBX, Version: 5.1.102
Compiled: Feb 9 1999
Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., Copyright 1998 1999

can't read config file
===================================================
Is there any CD available or any .exe file available for this sort of installation.

I am grateful to those who will give me the input.

Thanks
Nithish

  • Guess you got not GPlus simulator
    but G3 (Avaya) voice switch (PBX) simulator
    of obsolete ver.5.1

    it needs config file to load DNs, ACD etc. that match (subsets) Genesys Configuration environment

    Isn't this a licensable product that you have to pay Genesys for? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) and therefore noone should distribute it.

    Nitnish,

    I doubt you would be able to get a free version of simulator, since GPlus simulator is part of GSDK offered by Genesys. If you have 5.1 simulator, I assume you got it with the earlier Genesys distribution version. Why don't you ask your vendor to give you a later version?

    Or are you developing some Genesys application for another company and 5.1 simulator is the only thing they gave you?
