SIP hardPhone reccomendations

Hi,

We're considering a SIP implementation and was wonder what experience anyone might have with any of the SIP hard phones Genesys has on the approved endpoint list. We are looking at a call center deployment obviously so agents needs (headsets, coaching, ease of use) are as important as reliability. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi ;

If you are looking for Hardphone (IP phone) instead Genesys SIP , you can have it Genesys 420HD ip phones.

  • We are using the Yealink T21P (2x100mbit) which are working great with Genesys SIP server and costs are quit low, compared to for example the Audiocodes phones.
    Provisioning is perfect and settings can be done easily in config files.
    It's all depending to your needs ofcourse. All of our agents are using wired headsets. We only use LDAP, Forward and DND functions on the devices itself, for certain internal departments (our Office phones are connected to Genesys SIP server as well).

    Hi, (first post)
    Out of curiosity, why are you considering hardphones instead of using WDE/WWE with SIP endpoint?

    Besides the Yealink T21P, we are using SNOM300 and 320 too on customer service (but the SNOM's will be replaced by Yealink when necessary), even we had some Aastra i6310 in the past and we do use some Soundstation IP6000 in several offices.

    We used snom. Then we used Grandstream. Now we are on karel ip111. It's totally based on one of Yealink models.
