Hi, all,

I was wondering if I am the only one who is puzzled by Genesys ETL settings.

We are using a superdooper powerful UNIX machine with who knows how many CPUs and enough memory to make up for lack of intelligence of some of the thirdworld dictatorships.

Yet, looking at trans_agg and trans_only, I wonder WHY is the number of MaxSrcToDist is 2? Also, why does Genesys by default sets # of chunks to read to 20 and write to 10, yet it is recommending to set it to 1???

Does anyone have a good idea as to how to set ETL to run on a multiCPU system? I mean, if we have all those CPUs, would it not make sense to run multi hreaded ETL????
