Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this website .I am currently having a Alacatel A4400 system and Genesys 7.1 Outbound Suite.I am planing to use the RSI feature or huntgroup so called feature in for routing calls to agents.

I have a couple of questions

1.Has anyone come across a implentation using RSI for routing of outbound calls ?
2.Is RSI and Huntgroup one and the same thing in genesys ?
3.Is it possible to use the RSI number as the VTD (voice transfer destination) while setting up outbound campaigns ?
4.What would the typical call flow while using RSI with Genesys outbound ?
5.How should i setup the RSI number in Genesys ?

thanks everyone in advance  ;D

Regds,

  • Hello,

Ive had some experience with it, but not in the 2 years.

1.Has anyone come across a implentation using RSI for routing of outbound calls ?
    YEP

2.Is RSI and Huntgroup one and the same thing in genesys ?
two different things, RSI is a routepoint, Huntgroup is an ACD queue. With RSI you will get an eventrouterequest and alot of treatment functions which are not possible with the hunt group.

3.Is it possible to use the RSI number as the VTD (voice transfer destination) while setting up outbound campaigns ?
    YEP

4.What would the typical call flow while using RSI with Genesys outbound ?
depends if your using the switch to dial for you or you are using diabolic( dorry dialogic)

5.How should i setup the RSI number in Genesys ? Route point type 2 ( off the top of my head- check the tserver manual)
