Avaya Genesys simple (prolly) question.

Hello!
Just one question - probably dumb, but stuck at this point. When configuring options of TServer for AVAYA there is some fields in section link-tcp like "ip", "link number" & "port". The question is - what value for "port" should i use ?  I suppose it is a tcp port which should be administered in DLG application on MAPD. But i don't see any port administration in MAPD. Well I do understand how to do it with Alcatel where the standart port for TAPI exist ( 2555 as I remember). But what about AVAYA ?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

Standard port is 5678. I haven't seen Avaya for a while so I don't remember where this port is configured on Avaya side... :(

  • Thanks a lot. Simultaneously found ot by myself. :) BTW I also dont't know how to change it using DLG. With Co-Res DLG it seems easy by administering ip-services form - but that is only for S8300.

  • "brief" information on Avaya MAP-D and DLG configuration is attached (mapd-config.zip) for sharing.

To configure ASAI-link, you need to configure objects in both switch and MAP-D.

    Have fun!
