Title: How to override access code received by ISCC?
Post by: astrakid on July 15, 2008, 02:13:16 PM
Hi,

I am just trying to combine 2 totally independent CMEs. Therefor we created everything that is necessary, but now we have one problem: If we want to transfer a call to the remote destination, it is using a wrong access code. Due to the fact that the administrators of remote's CME are not available the next days, I am searching for a temporary solution, e.g. override the delivered access code. I already tried to use the function SetCallOption -> use_extrouter=true, but that didn't work. The correct access code is configured on the remote switch in our CME.
Can someone help me?

kind regards,
andre

Sometimes to overwrite delivered access code the strategy function SetTranslationOverride can be used (Destination DN parameter).

But what about the external routepoint? Is this still agreed between both T-Servers? As far as I understood I have to specify a target DN. Or am I wrong?

Example:
Currently we want a strategy to route from switch a in CME A to switch b in CME b (within one CME ISCC works fine). We only have access to CME A.
While ISCC handshaking CME B (T-Server b) tells T-Server a to use 0123456 as access code and erp 7890. But our ACD needs to use 00123456-7890. Nevertheless the used ERP has to be taken from T-Server b, so we only need to override the access-code. Is this possible?

Kind regards,
andre

Maybe this helps to clarify what I want:
Due to ISCC-handshaking the access-code is distributed by remote t-server (here t-server b) and used by local t-server (t-server a).
we see this in logfiles:
ISCCAttributeCallDataXferResource '0123456'

Instead of this number we need to dial '00123456'. How can this be realized?

If it is a fixed data like connID there is no way to modify it as it comes from a memory stuff
