Hi,

I need some basic information about how to get SIP T-Server to work with IVR, such as Intervoice. Has anyone tried this? If so, how do you go this?

I haven't implemeted yet but very interested in the subject.
Does IVR talk SIP? If it is then it's matter of registering DNs to SIP tserver.
Otherwise you'll probably need to have IP pbx in the middle.

Not sure about intervoice but if it does talk sip then I dont see why you should not be able to register your IVR extensions with SIP Server. I recently got Asterisk/SIP Server up and running delivering calls to agents logged in via GAD - was able to actually get the SIP End-point extension for GAD working. No more hard phone!!! GAD SIP End-point software has been a bit flaky but it works.. mostly ;-)

If you do a doc search on the tech support site for Asterisk you will find the integration doc for SIP Server and Asterisk. In the appendix section are some detailed messaging diagrams which should provide a pretty good overview of how SIP handles registrations. This may or may not apply to what your trying to do.

Good luck! My next step is to get GVP working with SIP Server....
