Interactive Insights deployment questions for a beginner

Attempting to install the interactive insights 8_101_05 on a fresh windows server 2008 R2 VM. I am selecting the full Monty which includes the BOE elements. Ive preloaded tomcat6 and jdk6. Keep getting an error "An unexpected error occurred during the installation of Genesys Interactive Insights. Please check the prerequisites and run the installation again. Should the problem persist, please contact Genesys Technical Support." Have not changed port 6400.. the deployment guide prerequisites are not very helpful at all. Please tell me what im missing. So grateful for this site.. Steve

thanks again. The ticket is in with genesys. They are assisting. I will post the resolution.
