Another week traffic - am I seeing a pattern here
victor:
Hi,
I was looking at the traffic pattern for this site, and I think it is pretty much the same week after week!
Interesting, considering how we continue to get new people!
I think this means that people are looking at it for a while at first and then just check it from time to time, which is probably the way it is supposed to be, since you come here when you have a question, or two.

I still find it very intriguing how much traffic we continue to receive. Almost 350 registered users - amazing!

Well it depends, for example i like to come here and read many posts even if they are not from a problem that affects me, but like to extract ideas and learn possible solutions.
Others just come to read and others to ask.
Keep going :)

You know, I was thinking about what people need most and when I think abotu it, I think about me since I am using Genesys everyday. And the answer is pretty simple - technical know-how, q&a and if there are some cool tools that I can do (mainly with reporting) then I would love it as well. Other than that, Genesys has it covered on their site.
I do not think that starting a blog or writing articles would make sense, since Genesys is doing it already and probably doing it better as well.
Overall, it seems as we have a pretty strong user loyalty! Look at it, we were tracking stats for less than one month and most of the people have been on site more than twice! Not bad :)

I was looking at refering sites and it is really interesting! I think Pavel would be happy to see that his genewiki is pretty popular!!! And did you notice that Tony has his own host at BlueYonder?!!!! Wow!

I am a bit sad that not as many people are helping me with wallboard server, but I guess it just needs time and some additional work on my side.
Best regards,
Vic

I would imagine that the lack of interest in the wallboard server is down to people not knowing about it or not needing it.
A lot of companies will willingly pay out a lot of money to integrate their legacy wallboard systems when they do an installation of Genesys.

Hi, Mark,
I agree with you on this. Other than already writing an article about it on our website, what are some of the other ways of promoting it?
I can think of -
1. preparing a demo and posting it with a YouTube link
2. preparing a PPT presentation of what it can do
3. berate you, Pavel and Tony for not meeting me while I was in London.
What do you think?
Also, we are still having problem with localization - we need somebody to localize it into English, since I do not have time for it.
Best regards,
Vic
