Another week traffic - am I seeing a pattern here

By the way, have you noticed how we got ... 46,000+ hits last month?

I could not believe my eyes! And most of it is NOT Google, but actual people. I have noticed that there are very few people who actually post questions here. Most of the browsing seems to be for reference purpose. Over 4000 searches per day according to the logs.

I wonder if we will ever get 1000 people on this forum...Four more years?

All the more reason to ensure that people do not need to register.  Imagine the admin nightmare if you had to allocate rights and access rules... !

This sort of strengthens my case to remove the Y! Group.  I mean, is there any real reason to have "other sources" for information, when this Forum is as easily accessible and user-friendly as it is?
