Pulling information from Siebel

Jim:
Does any one know if Genesys can pull information from Siebel with out using ERS. We want our IVR to pull caller information directly from Siebel (as well as update info) instead of our AS/400. It looks like ERS has the data query elements but since our switch does all the routing and reporting we don't really need ERS.
