Why does Genesys not offer any statistics training?

I see many of the same questions being asked on this board, or similar questions to do with Statistics for either Pulse, CCPulse or Stat Server.
All the same issues I have been dealing with since we implemented Genesys 10 months ago.
I solved most of my issues by reading ( a lot!) of documentation, internet searching, this forum and just trial and error.

I have asked Genesys for Statistics Training but they do not offer this. Does anyone know why not?  ???
My contact person said they would suggest it to the Curriculum Development Team at Genesys, so I guess I will wait and see what happens.

In the meantime, any tips on learning about Genesys Statistics apart from reading (more) documentation?
Thanks.

Pretty sure they've offered BI and Statistical Reporting training in the past... but they do like locking everything down so that it's not available to "outsiders"....

Try:

GENESYS INTERACTIVE INSIGHTS 8 FOR REPORT DEVELOPERS (GII81-DEV)
GENESYS INFO MART 8 REPORT DEVELOPMENT (INF81-DEV)

Other than that - and I am sure you know this already - a lot of the statistical functions are based on MSSQL, Oracle, PLSQL, Java, Business Objects (BOU) and other industry standard elements.  It depends on what you want to study for...?

Hope this helps - and good luck!

Well, we use Pulse, but the Pulse training is basically just "create a widget in a Pulse"  ::)

Why not offer a more detailed training for Pulse as in "how to create your own statistics, where to do this, the basic meaning of objects, how to use filters etc.
This is all possible within Pulse and StatServer, no MSSQL/Oracle/Other needed. And yes it is (briefly) explained in documentation but I cannot say this is very clear when you just start out with no training whatsoever.

You can visit the training "Framework,Routing and Reporting", where the statistic area is described as well.

In general, the statistic topic is described in great detail within available documentation.

I think you just highlighted the fundamental difference between a "User" and a "Developer".... :)

There is another training just for stats, search in the tutorials for Unveiling the StatServer mystery. Is a small part of the full training but helps a lot.

That sounds awesome but I can't find it in Tech Tutorials? Which number is it?
I can see #35 to #100 but nothing mentioning StatServer.

By the way - there's nothing wrong with asking stat questions here, if you're stuck on something specific... ;)

Some very good description and references are found in the CIM troubleshooting course.
