WhatsApp integration

Hi guys,
Any of you have seen a product from Genesys to connect to WhatsApp? Here in Brazil they are showing something but can't find a direct reference from Genesys and yes from a partner. My concern is how trustable this could be?
WhatsApp has no open API yet so...a hack would be involved. If so, my fear on behalf the customer would be quality and stability...
What do you think? Have to seen something similar in your country?

Genesys will start to develop a WA integration as soon as WA releases an official API.
All existing integrations a subject to stop working in case of API changes or WA blocking the used mobile number, so nothing to consider for production.

Yeah I know that and keep reminding of that, however I feel that the user need is so big they are ok with taking the risk. And I understand that as well, WhatsApp approach to that part is ridiculously slow.
Will see how it goes and let you know

There is a Genesys partner located in Peru/Chili that developed a Whatsapp integration in the past for Genesys (you can find that partner on the Genesys website after you are logged in (Partner section). We were interested in that too, but the company doesn't respond on any contact and because of the unofficial API support we decided to give it up for Whatsapp.

Yeah I know them, very much. The problem is that, they don't have a stable product. Another at Brasil also did something quite more ambitious, but also lacks of information and any stable release...
Still customers ask for it

There is an Indian company called Smart Connect (http://smartconnectt.com/ ) that sent me a product flyer on this feature.

Despite the look of the web site they are a decent sized organization and the CEO is a great person to deal with. Personally, I have not seen the product.

We are seeking for Contact Center applications, not user APK apps without any support.
