Ok,

I need some serious help here.

Cisco came out with Cisco Call Manager. Genesys came out with SCCP TServer for Cisco. Now, I want to do an outbound and the very first thing that stops me right in my tracks is that there is no way to have call classification implemented! CCM does not have the mean to determine if a particular outbound call is ringing, answered or busy!!!

But wait!!! I do recall the times when I had to work with Nortel, and Campaign Manager (which strangely sounds a lot like Call Manager... CM vs CCM?!! :) ) And CPD was a way to go. Well, wy can't I use CPD here as well.

Can we use CPD Server to control dialogic cards that are connected to VoIP GW? Does Genesys need to see events from outbound progress?
