Hi all,
I would like to better understand and to deepen knowledge about how to use web services in IRD 7.5; involved processes, configuration, implementation, interaction flow in strategy.

As, i.e., TTS & ASR through third party web service.

Wich document I should look for?

Best regards.

??? ??? ???
TTS and ASR via WS??? Uh?
WS are for HTTP requests only...IRD has nothing to do with RTP or MRCP for ASR/TTS.
I think you are confusing terms or concepts?

Hi Cav, surely I lack of knowledge about some elements. I were just arguing if there's a way to integrate a TTS/ASR engine in strategy, in a GVP that lacks TTS ASR embedded engines.

p.s. the web service could be used to exchange informations about the treated interaction, but the idea is just still at "mental fantasy" level, to be defined.

If you have a GVP then connect it to your ASR/TTS engines (if supported via MRCP v1 on GVP 7.6)
URS can be used to grab info but won't differ on what GVP can already do.

URS with MRCP is a NO. URS is a pure Genesys TLib solution and has no SIP resources to interact with any TTS/ASR engine.

Thanks Cav, perfectly clear; so the answer is a NO, 'cause our GVP does not have internal TTS/ASR components.

Answer would be, yes, just install them...no need for license on GVP side for that.  ;)

Oh... this is a very nice info :) I'll try to obtain installation package from vendor... let's see if I manage to do something.
