SQL/ Reporting DB server problems

We are having an issue where we have one site running our SQL server with two ODS's, one for each site. But just recently have seen that the remote site is having data go to the emergency save file in Datasourcer and doesn't get transferred to ODS for hours and hours later, making our reports not available for that site. We tried disabling old report layouts hoping that would fix the problem, but it hasn't and we are finding ourselves in a bad situation. We don't have the capability of having the remote site have it's own ODS and our network bandwidth is more than sufficient to handle this traffic across the WAN, but it appears not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any advice would be helpful as Genesys support just suggests having the ODS on the same LAN as reporting DB server and datasourcer.
