Pulse - Views not syncing across GAX Instances

Hi All.

I've got a Pulse setup where it's two GAX instances which both run in Primary/ Primary, however when I create a Dashboard or Wallboard, this doesn't sync across the two.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What do you expect exactly to happen?
I don't think your architecture is valid. Are them with load balancing?

Yes, they are load balanced the GAX instances.

Is what you're after even supported?

My understanding is that each gax uses 1 pulse instance and didn't know there's some automated sync process between pulse instances.

Yeah, that is new, however sync must be done previously.
tomparker12 is your architecture like what hsujdik just showed?

I don't currently have it setup in a cluster configuration, just Primary/ Primary (only because that's what the docs said).

Does anyone have any experience with setting up Pulse / Collector as a Cluster?

Do both of your Pulse instances have connection to the same DAP?
Do they both have a connection to each other?

So currently have the following configuration..

Two instances of GAX - Primary/ Primary - no connection between the two.
Two instances of Collector - Primary/ Primary
Two Stat Servers - Primary/ Backup
One Pulse DAP - GAX01/ GAX02 is connected to
One GAX DAP - GAX01/ GAX02 is connected to

GAX01 -> Collector-01
GAX02 -> Collector-02

Dashboards and wallboards do not sync automatically.
Every time you change something, all users that have that dashboard or wallboard in use will have to close it and reopen it manually.
The only thing that does sync is when you adjust the actual widget templates, you can push the changes to the dashboards but users still have to click on "update" in the widget displaying on the dashboard or wallboard.

Unless you mean when you create a dashboard, it does not sync to both instances and it cannot be viewed at all on one of the instances?

Hi Jones,

Yes I'm aware that if you amend the Widget Template, you can push changes across the site.

My question is - surely if you create a Wallboard or Dashboard on one GAX instance, it should copy across to the other host as both GAX instances are going to the same DAP for GAX & Pulse?

Secondly - the collectors - I understand that the latest 8.5 version and G9 have to run in Primary / Primary, has anyone had experience with cluster configuration of them?
