What is the difference between Genesys WFM and say Blue Pumpkin? Our company is trying to compare the two and is leaning towards BP.

  • You have probabley started off a good thread here. We looked at Genesys eWFM with the view of replaceing TCS for a 1500 agent Call Centre. In the end TCS won hands down from a functional perspective, so we built custom interfaces from both Genesys and the PABX into TCS to keep it functioning (not a big job at all really).

It all depends upon the degree of functionallity and flexibility you want from the product. Genesys may serve you well, it was just not the product for us.

    Cheers

have a look at www.callcentrevoice.com there are lots of interesting things here about other wfm vendors. We are currently looking at purchasing one and have ruled out WFM due to lack of functionality, ease of use and level of manual intervention required.
