We have had huge issues with this adapter. It works fine if you are creating a new agent and then making changes to that agent. However, it does not work for preexisting agents (ie agents you already had configured in Genesys prior to implementing the GPlus Adapter). You have to either delete the agents and rebuild them via Siebel, or remove them from the Siebel configuration and then add them back, which results in duplicate agents in config. mgr. and one has to be deleted. Either way, it's a pain. Also, Since Siebel does not have an "Employee ID," Genesys takes the Siebel database row ID and populates the Genesys Employee ID with it. So, whatever you used to use for Employee ID will be replaced with a cryptic bunch of nonsense (this includes CCPulse, etc.). The worse part, though, is the skill names. Siebel allows you to use the same skill name in different areas, so when the skill names synch across to CME, a lot of "stuff" is added to the beginning of the actual skill name. For example, if you have a skill called "sales," then when it gets synched from Siebel it will end up looking something like this: "Phone_S_Skill_SI__LC1_sales." So, if you have strategies that route to the skill "sales," guess what? You have to rewrite them to use the "new" skill name. And here's the best part about that...the window where you select skills in IRD is too small to display the entire name of the new skills, and there are no scroll bars and the window cannot be resized. You can't tell which skill is which because all you can see is Phone_S_Skill_S. The identifying portion of the name...the end...is hidden beyond the edge of the window. So, not only do you have to rewrite all of your strategies to use new skill names, you have to manually type those skill names in, unless you want to just guess at which one is which.
