Hi Experts,

I have requirement where there would be a SQL Server dedicated for Genesys solution. However, the concern is on the clustering approach officially supported by Genesys.

We know that each of the Genesys components have different compatibility matrix related to Databases. Some support SQL Server 2019 Cluster, some does not support it. Some support Always-On Clustering etc.

https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/System/Current/SOE/Welcome#t-4

What is the normal practice followed when it comes to such a situation? Even though Genesys officially does not support Clustering for few components. Do you go for simple failover (Active/Passive) Clustering of SQL server? Or do you go for the Always-On Clustering approach at our own risk?

I know many of you would be using different databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.

If anyone can share their insights and thoughts on the situation related to SQL Server clustering would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Best Regards,
Rashid

Dears,

Maybe anyone can post their experience on how it is setup with your clients. That would help to understand better.  :)
