Hi,
We use inhouse Softphone application for our company..
Can anbody tell us, if it's possible to unregister or disable an Acd position or Extension on CME 6.5 from softphone application side....Which requests should be sent?
We want to use this for fixing problem "Resource out of Service" which can be fixed by unregistering agent from extension and login to DN and again registering...

You cannot disable a DN in CME using softphone.
What you can do, is update cme directly in DB, which will prompt configserver to issue disable command to tserver and tserver will unregister dn from PBX.

Hi,
Thx for the answer,
Does it affect immediately or does conf db need to be restarted for this action?
Also think that approximately ~20 DNs are having this error on our call center... Should there be any problem to update Db
Also do you know which fields should be updated for this action We use DB2 on AIX environment.

  • We have inhouse softphone, what I have done is at the login window I have 2 check boxes one for email extension and one for phone extension. by selecting both check boxes the softphone will register both DNs. if agent selected one only then softphone will register the corresponding dn only. hope this might help you.
