Hi, all,

here is a one that really bugs the hell out of me:

We have agents logged into a queue on Nortel Symposium using Genesys 6.5 Some agents usie GPlus, some agents use a custom made phone.

When a call is placed into a queue, agents who are using GPlus are automatically placed into a NotReady state, while agents using our custom softphone are not affected.

Of course, this means that those agents that are on an active call and are using GPlus automatically drop their call...

Weird? More like scary. What can possibly cause this behavior? Since our custom phone and even Genesys ActiveXphone do not exhibit this behavior, it makes sense to blame the venerable GPlus adapter. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

  • Upgrading to G7 will fix your problem. There is a problem in GPlus for Siebel in the G6.5 version which would cause this to happen.
