If there is anyone out there who has actually installed IS 6.0 on the Framework 6.0 in a development environment, please email me. We are on client site trying to make this work and cannot. Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kristen

  • I would wait for 6.1 as there are many bug fixes as well as integration into sci is supposed to be completed.

  • Kristen, I am confused... What database is Media Link not connecting to? what kind of staff are you using for this project, because trained CGE personnel would be able to install IS 6.0 in under a week.

  • What are you having problems with?

There is an installation in progress in Arkansas and we are in the process of such an endeavor right now. Which database are you using? The current buzz is that if you're using Oracle, it needs to be 8.1.6. The Arkansas install lupgraded to 8.16 Oracle on NT and were sending email last week; we're going to check out 8.1.6 Oracle on Solaris 5.7. and should know in a day or two if it works. Also you need to create another TServer just for ICC.

  • Why do you need a separate TServer for ICC?

As for Oracle, I would suggest using 8.1.6 it works :)
