Audacity - WAV files to VOX?

Does any one know if it is possible to set Audacity to export WAV files as VOX?

When using the other format option, there is no option for VOX (there is VOC but thats not whats needed). Apparently this is possible so that you can use recorded WAV files within GVP scripts.

Any ideas?

we are using a tool built on top of SOX to do this.

Check this:

http://sox.sourceforge.net/

It is a free tool that converts WAV to VOX and so on
Pretty much what you need plus it is shell driven, meaning you can automate it and call it within somewhere else

sox filename.wav filename.vox will do the trick, but chances are you will need to adjust your volume (-v) and maybe rate, etc...
