Calling List Column in Outbound Contact Manager

Hello,

I'm looking for information in Outbound_Contact_Manager, about to change, in a calling list, the column's order of posting.
I thought this order was the same order than the column's table (associated to calling list) in database, but it's false.

If you have any suggestion, thank you in advance

Alex

Can you please explain what you mean? What about changing columns that should affect OCM?

I believe you mean the userfields.
The creation order on the calling list table depends on the order on how you created them on the CME, for example, you create uf2, uf1, uf3 in that order you will see in your calling list :

[Mandatory Fields][UF2][UF1][UF3]

This because when you created UF2 in was created on a table with a index lower than UF1 and UF3, and so on.
I hope my explanation is understanable

Hi

First, thank you for your repost, OCS Man & Cavagnaro ...

So, I have created some userfields in Calling List and i want to sort the display of this userfields in Outbound contact Manager when i click on Calling List sub-section...
I think Cavagnaro has right : the userfield's order of creation in CME is the same order than userfield's order of display in OCM.
So my License file is expired and i'm waiting another one from Genesys. I will test soon...
I will do a feedback...
Alex

You mean you want to do something like in Excel? Move columns forward or backward? Not possible.
If you want to sort ascending/descending you can do it applying Viewing Filters in the lower part. This is not the same as Dialing Filter and does not affect the way the campaign is launched.

No,
i don't want to sort columns in real time, just to have a predefine sort when i click on calling list in Outbound Contact Manager...
Thank you for your reply

You will need to create a filter to have this viewed in a particular sort order.
Create a Filter and in the Annex Tab create a section called default.
In the default section create an option called order_by with the value of (this is an example) "substring (phone, 3, 1) asc"  Do not create a criteria option if you just want to sort.

This will sort all the records for a calling list based on the first 3 characters of the phone field.  The only text you put in the order_by option which column and which direction you want to order the view.  ASC for ascending and desc for descending.

Use this filter for viewing the list, don't apply this list to the calling list itself or it will dial in this order.
