It is stated in the database table that the email is submitted to media link (status = 9) but these mail did not pop up even after few days. Anyone know how the mail get into this status?

  • Is the email still being routed by IR? Have you checked the IR log?

  • We have an application that writes to the emailout table. When we set the status to 2,the message is sent and Genesys sets the status to 7. I'm not sure what status 9 will do.

  • Don't know how this will help, but according to the Genesys documentation, here are some emailout status codes:
    0=Default, no status assigned yet
    1=WIP, work in progress not ready to be sent.
    2=AgentSubmit, an agent has pressed th eSend button on an outgoing message.
    3=NeedsReview, the message needs to be reviewed and has been submitted to the QAReview VRP
    4=ReviewerSubmit, the message been reviewed and is read to be sent.
    5=REady, the message is ready to be sent.
    6=Failed, send attempt failed.
    7=Sent, the message has been sent.
    8=Send, the message is never actually saved in this state. It is an internal state which indicaties taht an outgoing .MSG file has been successfully produced and is ready to be sent. When the send has succeeded, the status is changed to Sent.

    9=SubmittedToMediaLink, the message been submitted to MediaLink.

    10=ReviewSubmitFailure, an error occured while the message was being submitted to MediaLink. the AWE will automatically resubmit the message whe the MediaLink problem is resolved.

  • Have you looked through the ir log? I would suspect that that email is still being routed from default to default, resulting in endless loop.

    We had a similar problem when we had few emails being mis outed because of a poorly constructed strategy. I thought it was kind of interesting to have calls that are dropped to defaultto simply be resubmitted by the media link to the same RP again and again and again...
