In the "StatServer Information" tab, I could not see or modify
the related StatServer. Any comment on this case?

  • David,

    what do you mean you could not CHANGE StatServer? There is no name in the box for StatServer Name?

    Check your connections in CME! Is your DAConfig connected to Stat Server in CME? Also, do you have the security necessary for DAConfig? (PLEASE DO NOT POST LOGIN INFO HERE!)

  • Hi Vic,

    >> what do you mean you could not CHANGE StatServer? There is no
    >> name in the box for StatServer Name?

    In DAConfig, when you click on the Switch, the StatServer Information is displayed. Using the pulldown menu, as you
    know, you can select the proper (related) StatServer. But,
    in our case, this pulldown menu is "disabled"; that's,
    we couldn't select the StatServer. Due to this reason,
    the parameters and values of Agent Groups (like Call
    Volume, Abondoned, ServiceFactor, and etc.) could not
    be configured.

    >> Check your connections in CME!

    Yeah, I have already checked out the connections in CME. We
    set all the connections as described by the book.

    >> Is your DAConfig connected to Stat Server in CME?

    Nope! DAConfig, as an application, is not defined in CME. I have
    already checked the Templates, but I couldn't find any DAConfig
    Template. Should I define such application in CME?

    >> Also, do you have the security necessary for DAConfig? (PLEASE >> DO NOT POST LOGIN INFO HERE!)

    Yeah, I have checked the priorities of "Workforce" in Access Groups.
    That's allrigth, no problem with the definitions and configurations.

    Any comment?

  • Good morning, David, how are you?

    I have tried to add multiple stat servers to DA, but like you said earlier, it is impossible. I have talked to Vic and it seems like you can only define one Stat Server per Data Aggregator. (He thought that you could add more than one; however, after trying it in our lab, we were only able to see one stat server)

    As you know, connection to StatServer is defined in CME. Just look under connections for your Data Aggregator application, and add a stat server you want to use. If you will try to add multiple Stat Servers, only the one on top will appear in DA Config.

    If you need to use more than one stat server, then you need to do some fancy footwork, because DA Config uses WFM application name to read its setting from CME, thus making it very hard to specify which data aggregator you need to use. Maybe there is an option to specify it under Adherence in WFM settings, but I could not find any.

    Of course, if someone knows a way to get multiple stat servers appear in DA Config, please feel free to interject!

    Were you able to connect to some statserver? If you have a connection between DA and Stat Server, you should have a stat server appear in your DA Config.

    Sorry I could not be of any more help! I will keep you informed if we find something new.

    Best regards.
    Jeff

  • Hey, Jeff & Vic!

    Thank you for your delicate support for this DA problem. However,
    although the proper StatServer has been defined in CME, under
    the connections tab of DataAggragator, I could not the see
    this StatServer in "StatServer Information" panel of DAConfig.
    Why me worry!

    On the other hand, many thanks to Jesus and Genesys Tech. Support,
    I have been offered to check out some CME and security setting.
    Thus, I will check them today or tomorrow.

    I am gonna let ya know.

    Best regards & cheers,

    David the anticarrierist.

  • Problem solved. Lemme explain;

    1. Open DAConfig;
    2. Select your switch;
    3. In the "StatServer Information" panel, "Tenand" = "Resources",
    "DA Server Name" = "<the CME name of the DA>"

    It works!

    Thank you for your delicate support, and cheers,

    David.
