  • Yippy!!!

10,000 posts and counting! It is truly amazing what we have managed to accomplish here. Few days ago I looked at the stats and we had over 70,000 hits in November alone. And most of it is NOT from me!

I am really happy that we have something here that addresses the needs of Genesys community. At first, it was only me answering most of the posts. After a while, Tony and Pavel joined in. Mark and Rene. Sy278. And did I mention our favorite Cavagnaro and eferreyra? BubblePaw and Peter... The list goes on and on.

I was using this forum on so many occasions during the last year that now reference to it at our client sites carries almost as much weight as a reply from Genesys tech support! In fact, over 80 per cent of all of our questions that used to be issued to Genesys are now answered through this forum. And I think it is a really good thing, because there are quite a few questions that are simply not suited for Genesys support.

Questions that rely on operations know-how, for example, that only a lucky few have access to. Now, with close to 600 registered users, I am seeing this operational know-how that was locked in our minds combine and come together into something can be used to improve all of our lives. And this is the whole point of this forum: to make our lives simpler, isn't it?

I am not feeling very literary today and this post underscores a need for me to compose my thoughts before I blast them into a cyber void, but 10,000 posts...I hope you let this illiterate and blabbering posts slide this time.  Like we do it each time with Tony's post, right?  ;D
    Best regards,
    Vic

Thank you everybody for being part of this.
