How to play announcements with Stream Manager or Asterisk?

Good Day everyone,
I am reading through the documentation but I am pretty sure I am missing something.  I am trying to play simple announcements within a routing strategy using either Stream Manager or Asterisk.  I have a SIP "T-Server" connected to Asterisk and have created a routing strategy that works.  Now I want to add an announcement to that strategy.  Can I use Stream Manager for this or must I use Asterisk since it is connected to the SIP Server?  I am really just learning the SIP portion of Genesys so any detailed help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all!
Perry

You need to create a DN of type "Voice Over IP Service" in CME, so you can use this DN as treatment in IRD

see the snapshoot

You can also use Stream Manager.  In your SIP Server TServer section you need to configure the option sip-treatments-enabled to equal true.  I have attached screen shots of my Stream manager TServer section and my VoIP service DN type for treatments.  Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank You so much for the assistance.  Can you elaberate on the Request-uri secion.  It was cut off in the screen shot.
I am using Asterisk for PBX functionality but want to use Stream Manager for announcements and MOH so I do need them to work hand in hand.  I have been told that's no problem.

Thanks for all of the help!

Thanks to all.  I was finally able to get this working beautifully with a little help from Genesys.  They wrote it out for me step by step and referrenced all of the documentation along the way.  I was surprised at how little I needed to set up but I am more amazed at how well it works.  Here is a portion of the E-mail from Genesys with the steps on how to do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In order to play user annoucements using IRD and Stream Manager, you first need to create a DN of type Voice over IP Service in CME. and name this DN "Treatment". On the DN's annex tab, create a section called TServer and define the following options:

Contact = <Set to the IP address of stream manager as well as the listening port>
service-type = treatment

Then, you need to create a strategy using IRD that has a Play Announcement and Collect Digits block. This block in the strategy will allow you to play the announcement specified in the Play Announcement and Collect Digits block in IRD.

In the Play Announcement and Collect Digits properties in IRD, on the Parameters tab set Max_Digits to the number of digits you will be collecting from the caller.

On the Prompt tab, in the ID field, specify the numerical value that matches the .wav file to be played. This .wav file needs to be located in the Stream Manager\announcement folder and needs to start with a numerical value (the value that will be specified in the ID field of Play Announcement configuration, under the Prompt tab).

For example, to play the announcment 1011_mulaw.wav, set the ID field in the Prompt tab to "1011"
