System requirements is always a tough one to decide, when you are scaling infrastructure for your Genesys environment
You will not find this is documentation as Genesys themselves :::hate to say it::: are not so hot on Infrastructure , it's not their business, although they are consistent and open to databases Oracle/Sybase etc.
We use a Sun configuration in a central state model (data center configuration)with independant TServer for multisite configurations
Auto mounted file system (no need for Veritas)using Suns shared storage
Floating IP.. so we can fail over to either domain
As for RDBMS, we currently use Sybase, this is replicated to provide reporting using replication. However, you are more than welcome to use Oracle 8i, depends on your company policy/standards
Architecture is always a tricky thing to discuss, dependant on the contact center volumes/activity, your current Infrastructure in place (if any) and how smart your Sun and DB Admins are for optimising the architecture.
If you need to know more info, let me know via a post and I can email you.

we are currently in the process of rolling out G 6.1 .
Is there any System Requirements Overview documentation available if it comes to questions like
Which Sun Solaris Cluster Software Version?
Which Veritas Volume Manager Version?
Which RDBMS Systen and Version?
Anything like that?
I could not find it in the Genesys Documentation anywhere… !
