  • hi scott,

the deal with inbound router and SCCS is that you need to use one or the other i think. you create your inbound strategy in either the sccs scripting tool (primary script) and apply it to the cdn through the master script.

on genesys (5.1 at least) then the strategy is created through the inbound router software. i suspect that like ourselves you may just be using the tserver from genesys for cti events and sccs for routing. if you want to migrate sccs scripts to genesys then the process is all manual i believe. first work out the business logic behind the sccs script and then port those requirements to the strategy you create in ir.

    hope this helps

To answer your question you need to set CNTL YES under LD 23 for the specific CDNs and not acquire the CDNs in Symposium if you want IRD to have control. Once you register the CDNs through TSERVER AND THE CDNS ARE IN CME it will automatically set the CNTL to YES.

If you want SCCS to aquire control then you need put the CDNs in Symposium and they MUST NOT be controlled by Genesys an not in CME. We have created a 2 ier of CDNs at our specific site so that if CTI fails SCCS can take control of the 2 ier of CDNs and route the calls. This requires that the 1st tier of CDNS controlled by Genesys have CNTL set to NO and that these CDNs redirect the call to the 2 ier CDNs through the actual PABX programming.
