GVP outbound and Alcatel-Lucent OXE

I have a trouble. GVP inbound integrated via SIP Trunking with OXE is working ok. But also need to use the Outbound but Alcatel says that this feature is not validated so alcatel did not give technical support for Outbound integration with Genesys.

At this time the outbound is not working and I have to make it work, so if anybody have any kind of information that can help me to make it work I will appreciated.

Also any idea, no matter if it is not with oxe, something that can help me.

What is exactly the problem you are having? If you already can receive calls on OBN application declare the Outbound SIP Proxy (logical IP address of OXE/sipdict -l Ip address) and configuring the public network category of the SIP Trunk Group should do it.

Hi cavagnaro, the problem is that since the GVP the external calls doesn´t work.

We can not do externals calls.

The picture is this: The OXE and the GVP are connected via SIP trunking. Also the OXE have E1 (PCM-R2) to make external calls.

What we want to do is the GVP make externals calls trought the E1 of the oxe, and it is not working.

So the GVP have to take SIP trunk group and them E1 trunk group to make the external calls.

Another question:

When you says:  "declare the Outbound SIP Proxy (logical IP address of OXE/sipdict -l Ip address)";  you mean that I have to declare on the GVP configuration the OXE as Outbound proxy?

I´m not the GVP technician, Im OXE technician. So I dont know to much about GVP, so I want to no what to do on GVP to explain to my partner who is in charge of GVP.

Well yes, GVP must know how to reach OXE. On GVP you will need then to declare the outgoing number as 012345678 where 0 is an ARS or a Professional Trunk Group Seizure.
I will recommend you to read the documentation of GVP.
I also found very difficult that Genesys says they do not support the OXE integration or Alcatel saying that they do not support Genesys...from where you get this info?

Hello again.

I work in Venezuela for an Alcatel-Lucent BP Premium. Im in charge of the OXE plataform. Im Alcatel Oxe ACSE (but never have work in an integration with GVP). I opened on Alcatel-Lucent technical Support center a Service Request and the answer was that. Since the GVP Outbound have not been tested yet, Alcatel did not give us technical support on this issue, so they just close the Service request.
We, may be erronously were thinking that, if GVP Inbound trought SIP is working and tested, the Outbound was working and validated too, but is not shus as, so, as I say, Alcatel did not give us technical support.

Hum, y Nelson sigue trabajando con ustedes? Era Maria entonces? Llevé un curso de estadísticas de Genesys con ella allá en Caracas hace como un año y medio. Mi nombre es Jorge Cornejo.

Hola Jorge. Creo entonces que te refieres a Maria Trovato. Si, ella continua con nosotros, te manda saludos.
Nelson no esta con nostros desde hace tiempo ya. Esta trabajando para Telefonica Venezuela.

Te comento que efectivamente el problema estaba en la Categoria Publica del Grupo troncal. Por defecto, al declarar el grupo troncal SIP, le coloca 18. La categoria Publica 18 no tiene permisologia de marcar nada.
Le cambiamos la categoria publica al grupo, a 5, que tiene permisologia de todo y funciono perfectamente.
