Genesys Stream Manager - is it a logger or not?

Hi,

I am a bit outdated when it comes to the latest SM developments, but last I heard it had voice logging capabilities but lacked a GUI and a search functionality. Has anything changed since last year? Is there a decent search GUI and has storage changed from .wav files to something reminiscent of Nice? Is it planned for in the next release?

Best regards,
Vic

Vic,

7.5 SM doesn't have any search GUI, the storage is still the Announcement folder, the wav file must be numbers...

Fra,

is there any reason why Genesys did not develop the interface for it? Should I devote the next two weeks to come up with my own "nice" (grin) and shiny GUI with DB support? Or is it coming in the next version?

Best regards,
Vic

Vic,

unfortunatly I have no idea why Genesys hasn't developed anything like that yet..and I haven't had the chance to see any roadmap..but if you come with a GUI, I do want to have it  ;D

Well, in this case, I do not have much choice, do I? :P

I am thinking to base it on SQL Express and basic IIS. Now, is there a simple way to detect when SM start recording or do I have to monitor TRequestMonitor?
