Generating DTMF from URS

Has anyone been able to generate DTMF for dialing from URS?

In this paticular situation we do a look up in a table and grab a full 10 digit phone number based off of an extension (CED) that is entered by the caller and troute to the number.

However this creates a tandem call and the call does come through a toll free number provsioned with Transfer connect.  I would like to find a way to generate the DTMF tones with a function like Troute to dial the Transfer Connected code and the 10 digit number.

Hi, there is a very simple (and dumb way) to do it:

assign a DTMF digit per VDN and have URS transfer the call to it. This way, you can do any DTMF combination you need.

I am not sure what PBX you are using.
For G3, TRoute DNIS overwrite + G3 T-Server's TC functionality can be used to get this. For more please refer to Dave's G3 T-Server Cookbook [It must be attached to one post in this forum, as I remember].

Thanks

SisB,

That worked perfectly, thank you for that!  I was also able to accomplish generating DTMF without actually having to set in in ISCC and used it in a situation where ISCC was not invoked.  This is great, now I can request DTMF via URS.

Thanks again,
Mike
