Hi, Rosy,

here are some of the possible things:
- you need to remove LogDAP from whoever is using it first, before modifying it. Do you have some application that has LogDAP in its Connections? Chances are it is this.
-config server in read-only mode (hardly unlikely, but still....)

but it throwed me an error scee029

when i tried making some changes to config server itself, there was another error scee030.

Rosy,

I think it is simpler than that - do you have any other application in CME that has your LogDAP in its connection? Start there...

By the way, you can always bug me on MSN chat: botik_2@hotmail.com

if you register, you will be getting updates every time someone replies to your email. Not to mention adding screenshots to your posts...

Best regards,
Vic

okay il do that.

meanwhile, i observered one thing.

there is no other application that has DAP connection

its a scrath installation,

im done with config layer

logdbserver application is done, now LOGDAP has to be connected.

when im creating logdap, it's throwing me scee016 error

but if i dont add dbserver in the genrral tab, then there is no problem.

please advise

thanks

Can you please post a screenshot of your:

1. CME General tab for LogDap
2. dbserver.cfg file

Let's do it one step at a time.

Is the data on DAP object correct? Meaning user/password and all the data?
Also, you are using Application templates that correspond to that application version, right?
Another, the DBServer is running? If so, what happens if it is stopped and then add the connection?

    Please  CME General tab for LogDap!

    I think it is default dbserver config 'dbprocess_name=./dbclient_msql'.
    Can you access CME?,that dbserver config?

    [dbserver]
    host=GCTI4
    port=4040
    management-port =4041
    dbprocesses_per_client=1
    dbprocess_name=dbclient_msql
    ...........
